Prep Team MemberA Prep Team Member at Chick-fil-A plays a vital role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. They are primarily responsible for preparing fresh salads, fruit cups, bulk items, and chicken, maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. In addition to their core prep duties, they assist in various areas of the kitchen as needed, supporting line cooks and other team members during busy periods. Their responsibilities also include performing deep cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold cleanliness standards.Prep Team Members may also support operational tasks such as ordering produce, receiving and unloading deliveries, and properly storing inventory. This role also includes completing and managing checklists and training new employees. Specifically, our unique and industry leading food safety regulations.Contributes to team effort by learning the positions in the restaurant. This means you may be asked to support the team by working in the kitchen, OR in the front of the house.Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds.
