How you'll make an impact in this role

• Oversees and coordinates peritoneal dialysis care, ensuring safe treatment delivery and monitoring patients for complications.
• Provides charge nurse leadership, supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient assignments, and serving as a clinical resource on the unit.
• Guides and supports patients and families, reinforcing education on renal dialysis care and recognition of signs requiring medical attention.
• Provides charge-level nursing care for renal and non-renal patients, ensuring care is delivered safely and in accordance with clinical standards.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date reqired. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 12 months of acute care nursing experience
