We are looking for a highly organized and passionate individual to serve as the Elementary Lead Pastor for Bethel Kids. The Elementary Lead Pastor provides leadership, vision, and oversight for all Elementary-aged environments within Bethel Kids. This role is responsible for cultivating a dynamic, Spirit-led culture where children encounter God, grow in their identity, and are equipped to live a supernatural lifestyle. This leader develops teams, oversees weekend services, and ensures alignment with Bethel’s core values and discipleship model.

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Job Requirements

Leadership & Oversight

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of Elementary ministry environments, including weekend services and midweek initiatives
• Set vision and maintain a healthy, life-giving culture for Elementary teams and volunteers
• Ensure excellence, safety, and consistency across all Elementary classrooms and services
• Monitor and evaluate ministry effectiveness, making adjustments as needed Team Development
• Recruit, train, and develop Elementary team members and leaders
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and spiritual encouragement to volunteers and staff
• Foster a culture of honor, accountability, and growth within the team

Weekend Services & Experiences

• Partner with the Bethel Kids team to plan and lead engaging, Spirit-filled Elementary weekend services
• Help lead and develop worship experiences that are age-appropriate and Holy Spirit-centered
• Create opportunities for children to practice hearing God’s voice, prayer, and ministry
• Ensure services are both fun and spiritually impactful

Curriculum & Discipleship

• Develop and create supplemental materials, activations, and object lessons to support the core Bible curriculum
• Ensure teaching aligns with Bethel’s values of identity, encounter, and supernatural living
• Collaborate on resourcing other Kids Ministries with tools and curriculum that equip leaders in supernatural discipleship
• Help adapt curriculum for different learning styles and age groups

Events & Ministry Initiatives

• Plan and execute special events, seasonal programs, and ministry initiatives
• Collaborate with other branches and departments to create cohesive and impactful experiences
• Oversee logistics, communication, and volunteer coordination for events

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the broader Bethel Kids team to ensure alignment across all age groups
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, volunteers, and staff
• Partner with families by equipping them to disciple their children at home

Minimum Qualifications

• A growing, personal relationship with Jesus and alignment with Bethel Church’s core values
• Experience working with children in a ministry or educational setting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
• Ability to lead both strategically and relationally
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting
• Availability to work Sundays and occasional evenings or events as needed
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in children’s ministry or elementary education
• Familiarity with supernatural ministry and Spirit-led environments
• Experience writing or developing curriculum or creative resources
• Worship leading experience or involvement in children’s worship ministry
• Strong relational instincts with both kids and adults
