Mechanical EngineerPosition InformationLocation: Tipton, MO 65081Job DescriptionPurpose of the RoleTo manage and design the mechanical aspects of projects, including but not limited to, hydronic systems, gas delivery systems, heating/ventilation systems, and equipment sizing.Key Responsibilities and DutiesDevelopment of mechanical piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)Development of mechanical equipment specificationsSizing and design of mechanical systemsReview assembly and detailed fabrication drawings for constructionSupport manufacturing and service during production/commissioningAdhere to company and client engineering standards and proceduresCommunicate with contractors and customers using clear verbal and written communicationRequired CompetenciesEducation: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET Accreditation) or relevant experienceExperience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Basic understanding of mechanical assemblyBasic understanding of materials and equipment selectionSkills: Strong understanding of engineering principles and design methodologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical details to peers and customersAdvanced problem-solving and analytical abilitiesFocus and attention to detail for complex mechanical systemsAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentStrong time management and organizational skillsFluent in EnglishReporting LinesReports To: Engineering ManagerSupervisees: N/AInteraction with Other DepartmentsSales Production ServiceDisclaimerThe above statements describe the principal and essential functions, but not all functions that may be inherent in the job.
