Job Description:

Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide nursing care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting. Responsible for active labor supervision, inductions, C-section support, and neonatal transitions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage labor and recover mothers
• Receive and transition newborns, providing assessments
• Handle potential OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Perform fetal monitoring and assist in C-sections, circumcisions, and use of intra-uterine monitoring

Requirements:

• Labor and delivery experience
• Experience with fetal monitoring, inductions, and OB emergencies
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
• Wear pink and/or brown scrubs as per unit policy
