Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self
• Attend education programs based on identified learning needs
• Assist in patient education and assess patient/family readiness to learn
• Identify expected patient outcomes and participate in revising the plan of care
• Demonstrate competence in patient care with a focus on complex problems
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Consult resources for patients with complex care issues and coordinate discharge planning
• Develop professional growth goals and participate in unit goals and performance improvement
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• One (1) year of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma or ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
