PACU Registered NurseLocation: Fort Worth, TXAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: The shift is from 9 AM to 9 PM, requiring one night a week and two weekends during the contract period. The position includes varied shift times of either 8 AM to 8 PM, 9 AM to 9 PM, or 10 AM to 10 PM.Job Description: The PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) is a dynamic environment offering care for a diverse patient population. Nurses in this unit will support patients immediately following surgery across various specialties, including General, Neuro, Oncology, Orthopedics, and Vascular procedures.Responsibilities: Nurses in the PACU will be responsible for:Monitoring patients post-operatively to ensure stable vital signs and recovery.Administering medications per physician orders.Providing patient education and support to families.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Candidates must possess experience in ICU or PACU settings. Although certified ACLS is not mandatory, it is highly regarded.
