Enterprise Data Engineer

Job TitleThe purpose of this position is to design, evaluate, assemble, and test data infrastructures to meet business requirements.ResponsibilitiesBuilds and maintains complex systems and infrastructures that collect and process data according to company needs and goals.Builds, evolves, and scales out infrastructure to ingest, process and extract meaning from data.Designs, develops, and implements mathematical or statistical models to carry out various novel aspects of classification and information extraction from data.Leverages existing data infrastructure to fulfill all data-related requests, perform necessary data housekeeping, data cleansing, normalization, hashing, and implementation of required data model changes. Analyzes data to spot anomalies, trends, and correlate similar data sets.Designs, develops, and implements natural language processing software modules.Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to troubleshoot problems, identifies possible solutions, and resolves accordingly.Associates are expected to perform all additional duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data or Computer Science, or equivalent certification.4 years of experience with modern ETL platforms, such as IBM Datastage, Informatica, Snowpipe, Azure, AWS, etc.Strong knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing and data modeling conceptsModerate to advanced proficiency in database languages such as SQL, Python, etc.Use of advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete workCompetency and capability to perform work independently, and in team environmentOral and written communication skillsAdvanced computer skillsTechnical expertise with data warehouse toolsAnalytical thinking skillsProblem-solving skillsMaster's degree relevant to data or computer sciences or equivalent certification preferred.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.Disclaimer: Management retains the right to add, delete or modify the responsibilities and qualifications of the position at any time.Trustmark Bank does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies and/or search firms for any job postings on this site.
