Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Construction and Design Litigation Attorney with an Engineering Degree to join their practice in Denver, Colorado. The role involves defending construction and design litigation matters and offers a hybrid work schedule after training. Duties Defend construction and design litigation matters. Represent developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors. Engage in client meetings, depositions, and court appearances. Manage and delegate work to paralegals. Draft and negotiate construction contracts. Handle large document production and database matters. Participate in marketing and business development activities. Requirements Currently licensed to practice law in Colorado. Experience with large exposure cases and multi-party litigation. Proven case management skills. Ability to travel. Experience with pre-trial discovery and motions. First chair mediation and trial/arbitration experience preferred. Education Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Colorado. Skills Excellent communication and analytical skills. Exceptional research and writing skills. Competent in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
