(Elliot).Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers / Form Setters / Concrete Carpenters to join our construction team. This position involves forming, placing, finishing, and repairing concrete on commercial and/or residential projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following:Build, set, and strip concrete forms (wood, metal, or system forms)Place, spread, vibrate, and finish concrete to specified grade and finishPerform finishing techniques including screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and broom finishesRead and interpret blueprints, layouts, and specificationsInstall embeds, anchor bolts, sleeves, and block-outsRepair surface defects, patching, and finishing touch-upsMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean job siteFollow safety procedures and OSHA regulationsWork closely with foremen and crew members to meet production schedulesQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in concrete finishing and/or formworkStrong knowledge of concrete tools, materials, and finishing methodsAbility to read basic construction drawings and elevationsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipPhysical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoorsClass A CDL is preferred but not required to hire (required within 6 months)Valid driver's licenseOwn your own hand toolsMust be able to learn from On-the-Job training and work well with othersMust be able to pass criminal background check and drug screeningBenefits/CultureMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceShort-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Life Insurance w/ additional Voluntary Life Insurance401K w/ company matchEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramState and Federally accredited Lineman Apprenticeship programPaid VacationServant Leadership TrainingUniforms and PPE provided
