Job Description

Review owner contracts to ensure accurate billing based on contractual terms and prepare timely, accurate billings in accordance with those agreements. Analyze and track job-related costs, ensuring adherence to internal control procedures. Reconcile job costs with monthly billings and identify any unbilled or delayed charges. Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth billing processes, ensuring all costs are captured and communicated effectively. Ensure prompt payment to subcontractors upon receipt of waivers and compile waiver packages for proper project documentation. Assist with job closeout by preparing accruals, reconciling project profits and losses, and ensuring accurate financials are recorded at project completion. Oversee subcontractor insurance compliance, ensuring its impact on billing and project schedules is appropriately managed. Monitor cash flow for each project and ensure financial management practices support project timelines and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred. 2+ years of experience in project accounting, within the construction industry preferred. Knowledge of GAAP, and other policies and regulations. Ability to work independently and multi-task.
