Nursing AssistantUnder the direct supervision of the RN, The Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care. Assists with data collection. Performs accurate measurements and recording of vital signs and intake and output. Able to care for patients in restraints. Documents accurately all cares provided to include date, time of entry, signature and title. Demonstrates consideration of patient rights including confidentiality, privacy, safety, patient participation in the plan of care, and the right to considerate and respectful care. Answers call bells promptly. Introduces self to patient.
