Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide care in a safe, healing, and caring environment
• Provide health education and information to patients, families, and the treatment team; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
