Summary

The General Laborer will support technicians and fabricators with day-to-day shop operations, cleanup, organization, and basic hands-on tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn the trade industry, gain shop experience, and grow within a fast-paced work environment. Job Functions

• Assist technicians and fabricators with shop projects
• Operate basic hand and power tools
• Assist with trailer assembly and repair preparation
• Use power/manual tools while adhering to safety regulations
• Maintain the shop and all other areas by sweeping and wiping down common surface areas
• Loading and unloading material, tools, equipment etc.,
• Removal of any debris, scraps, garbage etc.,
• Assisting other workers when they need a second pair of hands.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·         Tools: Experience with hand or power tools

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to work well with a team
• Previous shop or labor experience preferred but not required

Key Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, lift heavy objects, and work in shop environment.
• Reliability: Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Coachability: Willingness to learn new skills, follow safety protocols, and take direction.
• Have steel toe boots day one.
