Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an adult and geriatric Intensive Care Unit setting
• Manage patient assignments based on acuity, with ICU ratios of 1:1–3
• Float within scope to PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement
• Be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays per contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey state license or valid Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required at time of submission
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to float within scope to like units including PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for adult and geriatric ICU patient populations
• Familiarity with variable patient ratios across PCU and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry environments
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or step-down setting
