Medical Billing Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a Medical Biller who will follow through with timely follow up for all assigned accounts utilizing AR Reports and ensuring timely collection of all outstanding balances. Must prepare appeals for denials and understand denial management, as well as ICD10 and CPT4 coding. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience with medical billing, coding and collections for a hospital or physician's group. Strong knowledge of reviewing charges and credits Advanced knowledge of medical terminology Understand payer guidelines Understand preparing appeals for denials Basic knowledge of ICD9, ICD10, CPT Codes College preferred, HS Diploma required Strong computer skills, MS office suite Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone.
