Manufacturing Planner

Manufacturing PlannerLocation: Tucson, AZHire Type: Fulltime Permanent Role/ Direct HireWe are seeking a Manufacturing Planner to manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment. The Manufacturing Planner will resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of the engineering design, need, and final intended application. This position includes generating and monitoring the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and ensuring items are delivered to meet customers' schedule. This is an onsite position.What You Will Learn:Actively contributes to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures.Participating in engineering design reviewsManage and maintain build configuration and quality history recordsAcquire, track, manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test setsQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years prior relevant experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures.Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment areaExperience with material procurementQualifications We Prefer:Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.Experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardwareExperience maintaining configuration control of products and drawingsExperience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environmentExperience with Microsoft Office and database applicationsExperience with the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentationExperience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issues
