In this position...

The Global Service Diagnostics & Repair Program Manager position reports to the Director of Digital Repair Strategy and is responsible for ensuring collaborative cross-functional delivery of key transformational initiatives and JV (Joint Venture) workflows. They will operate at a higher altitude, overseeing development of workplans/roadmaps, monitoring program/project progress and tracking to milestone deliveries. Cross-functional orchestration and organization is critical to ensure program launch successes and driving accountability across global teams.

This leader should be comfortable and familiar in representing the Voice of the Dealer & Technician when interfacing other cross-functional teams, along with maintaining Voice of the Customer mindset in driving towards continuous improvement of operations.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

• Program Management Skills/Leadership - strong Program Management skills and basic knowledge of vehicle diagnostic functional teams/deliveries preferred.
  • Act as Single Point of Contact on key initiatives
  • Direct/coach team on development of workplans and execution of key initiatives (presently OTA (Over-The-Air) initiatives, JV support plan development)
  • Drive cross-functional /cross-company collaboration in support of timing and objectives
  • Engage leadership and escalate as needed to overcome barriers or breakdowns
  • Hold cross-functional teams accountable to deliveries to milestone targets
  • Coordinate warm hand-offs to regular launch deliverable teams (Diagnostics, Publications, Systems) once as appropriate and required to support vehicle launch efforts.
• Build repository of JV best practices
  • Document approach on support plan development, organization, and execution.
  • Coordinate change control management (maintain agility in managing the churn expected from working with JV programs, and build team resilience in handling pivots)
  • Global Program Management – Work closely with DFS (Design For Service) counterparts in other regions to provide a single aligned voice for FCSD to the Program Team.
• Global experience in driving collaboration and partner management
  • Ensure alignment with global partners on delivering to workplan
  • Program/vehicle lifecycle awareness & timing - ensure that changes are democratized and adjusted to
  • Build-up JV knowledge and expertise - develop a generic approach to JV partnerships for GSDR on future engagements

Qualifications

You'll have...

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience with program management
• 5+ years of experience with business office management
• 5+ years of experience with budgeting / PO management
• 5+ years of experience with people leadership

• Knowledge of Ford diagnostics deliverables and systems preferred
• Experience and ability to:

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
