Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging and effective therapy services to individuals, couples, and families through virtual sessions, ensuring an empathetic and supportive environment.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments during the initial sessions to better understand clients’ emotional, relational, and psychological needs, and develop tailored treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Employ family systems theory and other therapeutic modalities to address relationship dynamics, enhance communication skills, and alleviate family stressors.
- Implement crisis intervention techniques adeptly, offering immediate support during urgent situations to safeguard the mental health and safety of clients and their families.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, complying with all legal and ethical standards regarding patient privacy and information security.
- Deliver educational sessions to clients on effective coping strategies, relationship-building skills, and communication techniques aimed at enhancing their overall mental health and relational well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including fellow therapists, clinicians, and medical professionals to deliver a holistic approach to client care.
- Stay professionally engaged through ongoing training and education, adapting to the evolving landscape of marriage and family therapy.

Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- A master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related behavioral health field.
- A minimum of one year of demonstrated experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, providing outpatient therapy services is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to connect meaningfully with clients.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all counseling practices.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly focusing on family and relationship issues.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation systems.

Compensation and Benefits
