Our client, a leader in the technology infrastructure and data center sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Hardware Technician, you will be part of the Data Center Operations Department supporting the technical support team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Center Hardware Technician Location: Boardman, OR Pay Range: $26.50/HR What's the Job? Support and troubleshoot hardware infrastructure issues within the data center environment Share knowledge and assist team members in resolving technical problems Work autonomously to identify and resolve server‑related issues Maintain detailed documentation of hardware and network configurations Participate in scheduled work shifts, including holidays, as required What's Needed? Knowledge of hardware components inside servers and computers Effective communication skills to interact with team members and support staff Networking experience and familiarity with basic system administration Basic to intermediate IT experience, including troubleshooting skills Preferred: CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience What's in it for me?
