CL Psychiatrist

Job Title: Full‑time Psychiatrist – Consultation‑Liaison, Mayo Clinic Arizona (MCA) Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with psychiatric disorders and comorbid complex medical conditions in an outpatient setting. Provide consultation‑liaison services to the Mayo Clinic Hospital with a rotational, cross‑coverage, and call schedule. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical health psychologists, and neuropsychologists to deliver evidence‑based biologic and psychosocial treatments. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows as part of an academic position. Engage in clinical research and participate in faculty activities. Maintain treatment plans across two locations (Scottsdale clinic and Phoenix hospital campus). Qualifications Board certification in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (mandatory). Certification in Consultation‑Liaison Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry preferred but not required. Commitment to excellence in patient care and evidence‑based practice. First‑year of employment must attain board certification if not already certified. Experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is advantageous.
