We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Industrial Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Clifton Park/Half Moon, NY surrounding area.
Salary: $54,080 - 62,400
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, shredders, balers, compactors, sorters, and other production equipment
- Perform PMs, some installations, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (as well as some welding & fabrication)
- Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and electrical components while reading blueprints and manuals
- Document completed work and keep equipment operating safely with minimal downtime
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Experience performing maintenance in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with experience on conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics (welding experience preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints or electrical and hydraulic manuals
- Dependable team player with a positive attitude who takes pride in quality work
