What you get to do

• Develop single line and three line diagrams for new and existing systems
• Design and lay out electrical panels
• Perform electrical load calculations and size electrical equipment, and write equipment specifications
• Perform cable sizing, routing design, and calculations, and write cable specifications
• Design grounding systems
• Design safety systems, including emergency stop (E-STOP) circuits
• Generate bills of materials to support procurement and fabrication
• Partner closely with mechanical, process, and controls engineers to integrate electrical design across the full system

What you bring to AIRCO

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10 years of experience in electrical design and panel layout for machine building applications (OEMs)
• Hands-on experience designing safety systems, including E-STOP circuits
• Solid understanding of control and instrumentation engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent electrical design software
• Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment where priorities shift and you own the outcome
• Strong commitment to personal and process safety
• Ability to work onsite in New Britain, PA at least three days per week

Bonus points:

• Chemical industry and/or hazardous environment experience
• Understanding of state and federal code selection and regulations
• Plant troubleshooting or maintenance experience
