Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Ottumwa, Iowa. This role involves providing patient care primarily to adult and geriatric populations in a busy ER setting. Candidates are required to bring their licensed professional credentials on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Ottumwa, IA
• Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week with a 36 or 48-hour guarantee available
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (AHA), ACLS, and TNCC certifications; 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility; Iowa State Licensed RN; successful completion of a criminal background check including child abuse and criminal checks; current titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) from the last 12 months; mandatory reporter certification (child and adult); ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen including opiates; must bring license on the first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience, experience in similar-sized facilities, and adaptability to a high-volume ER setting.
• Additional Information: This role requires working in a facility with 17 beds, managing a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, and utilizing the MediTech electronic health record (EHR) system. Candidates must be flexible to start on Monday or Tuesday.
