TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Los Alamos, New Mexico, 87544!

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient ratio, serving patients of all ages
- Manage ventilator-dependent patients and titrate continuous medications
- Monitor and manage critically ill ICU patients using the Medhost Clinicals EHR system
- Respond to call requirements as needed; must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
- Float to other units such as MedSurg or the Emergency Room as needed
- All required certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS) must be obtained prior to submission — certifications are not available on site
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with eligibility to work in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience
- Required certifications at time of submission: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
- Associate's degree in Nursing or higher
- All clinical staff working in New Mexico must be fingerprinted prior to hire; travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while results are pending, with required supervision during that period
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
- Experience with ventilator management and continuous medication titration in a critical care environment
- Familiarity with Medhost Clinicals or similar EHR platforms
