Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues via the interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide intraoperative support, including prepping surgical suites, confirming patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice are highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

• Strong understanding of surgical principles and infection control practices
