About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Circulator Profession: RN Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7am-7:30pm Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in OR Circulating with Robotics, Ortho Trauma, and Neuro License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Level 2 or higher trauma OR circulating experience Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. No heart experience is necessary. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Excellent computer skills are required. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
