Electrical Estimator

EstimatorThe Estimator performs the day-to-day operations of electrical estimating.Develops cost estimates from take-off stage to bid hand-offPerforms site inspections to fully determine the labor and materials needsAnalyzes material, labor requirements, and general conditions to complete a projectAttends pre-bid and scope review meetingsComputes and submits bidsInterprets the specifications and blueprints to determine design intentCoordinates with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project ManagersManages quotation process with vendorsDetermines equipment needsMaintains up-to-date information in Opportunity TrackerPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorEducation:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or technical training in related field, preferredAdditional Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesElectrical construction estimating experienceKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Knowledge of and direct experience in estimating software.
