Physical Therapist Assistant – Chesapeake, VA | Part‑time, Day Shift Overview Sentara Therapy Center Edinburgh is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Part‑time, Day shift position in Chesapeake, Virginia. Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist, assist in developing treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. You will provide age‑appropriate education for clients and caregivers, supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Education Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from a CAPTE‑accredited program (Required). Current Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure. Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. American Heart Association RQI Certification. Work Experience At least 2 Years of Experience Required. Benefits Paid Time Off.
