Planet Fitness Cleaning And Service SpecialistThe Planet Fitness Cleaning And Service Specialist needed will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility and floor enforcer- dispersing small groups of people and making sure members aren't on the machines too long on their phones to ensure a positive member experience. The opportunity is perfect for those wanting a low stress environment or with very little job experience, and students.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floorStock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper productsReport any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club ManagerFollow "Lost and Found Policy" and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediatelyMaintain integrity of all Chemical closetsMaintain an organized gym floorQualifications/requirements include:Deep cleaning experience is preferred but not requiredPunctuality and reliability is a mustAbility to work evenings and weekends is a mustHonesty and exceptional work ethicGet tasks completed in a timely mannerDemonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and languageHigh School diploma/GED equivalent requiredMust be 18 years of age or olderPhysical demands include:Cleaning gym equipment, floor and glass.Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shiftMust be able to lift over 80 poundsWill encounter cleaning chemicalsCompensation: $19.18 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
