This well-established medical center features a large cardiology group consisting of 5 interventional cardiologists, 4 NPs, 2 cardiovascular surgeons, 1 EP physician, and 3 general cardiologists. The facility provides a collaborative and supportive environment with strong physician and staff support, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed 1 week per month, Monday through Monday, preferably the last week of each month
• Locum physician will round alongside 1 NP
• Typical inpatient rounding of 20-40 patients per shift
• Expected STEMI calls ranging from 0-3 per week while on call
• Anticipated 0-2 calls from house supervisor while on call
• Overflow and unassigned cath lab procedures to be performed by locum provider as needed
• Employed physicians will handle scheduled cath lab procedures
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
• Nearest airport is El Paso International Airport
• Lodging accommodations available with facility discount at partner hotels
• Assignment type: Locum Tenens, ASAP - Ongoing
