Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) Opportunity

BayCare Medical Group, the largest physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay region, is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our collaborative anesthesia team at South Florida Baptist Hospital in centrally located Plant City, Florida.

This opportunity welcomes both experienced CRNAs and new graduates, with BayCare's "Earn as You Learn" program offering financial support during training.

Position Highlights:

• Team includes Chief CRNA, 5 anesthesiologists, and 11 CRNAs
• Collaborative care model with strong physicianCRNA partnership
• OB anesthesia experience or interest highly preferred
• Manageable case mix averaging ~25 cases/day
• OB/Gyn, Robotics, Pediatrics, Urology, Thoracic, ENT, Vascular, OMFS, Plastics, General, Ortho Spine
• No cardiac or neurology cases
• Spine cases are rare
• Allows for a predictable, balanced clinical environment

Flexible scheduling options: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts

Call Schedule:

• Beeper call only (no in-house overnight requirement)
• Just 2 overnight call shifts per month:
• 1 weekday (MonFri): 7 PM 7 AM
• 1 weekend (Sat or Sun): 7 PM 7 AM
• Designed to support excellent work-life balance

Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
