Clinic Address 4316 James Casey St., Austin TX 78745 Job Summary Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical expertise and ensure high‑quality, efficient care in our cardiology practice. The role focuses on patient flow, education, record keeping, and coordination of tests and treatments. Key Responsibilities Manage efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, instructing patients on collection of necessary samples/tests, and obtaining vitals. Notify patients of test results and follow‑up appointments and instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Maintain accurate patient records, chart entries, and posting of lab/tests and examination results. Schedule tests and treatments, arrange referrals to specialists, and obtain pre‑authorizations when directed by the provider. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting (preferred). Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
