Phlebotomist

Position Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 591 Redwood Highway Suite 2100, Mill Valley, CA 94941. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 7:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.; overtime and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Coordinate administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications At least one month of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience with Labcorp. Additional Job Standards In lieu of the state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the requirement. Candidate must pass a standardized color blindness test. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to attend a 2‑week training in California.
