East River Contracting is hiring a part-time CDL Driver (2040 hours/week, with overtime available as needed) to haul equipment, materials, and aggregates for our crews and projects using truck and gooseneck trailer setups. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in operating equipment safely, and wants steady, flexible work with a team that values reliability and hard work. Pay & Perks

What You'll Do

• Haul equipment, materials, and aggregates safely and efficiently using truck and gooseneck trailer
• Perform daily truck and trailer inspections
• Secure loads properly and maintain DOT compliance
• Operate safely on jobsites and public roadways
• Assist with material handling on and off jobsites
• Perform routine maintenance on truck and equipment
• Communicate with crews and supervisors to coordinate deliveries
• Maintain clean and organized equipment

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Willingness to drive out of state (depending on need)
• Experience towing/operating a gooseneck trailer preferred
• Clean driving record
• Ability to fill out log books
• Experience hauling equipment or construction materials
• Comfortable with material handling and basic equipment maintenance
• Availability for a flexible, part-time schedule (2040 hrs/week), with willingness to work overtime during busy season
• Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to assist the team where needed
