Job Description We are seeking a Technical Service Representative (Liquid Water) to report to the Technical Service Director. The role alternates between working out of the Homewood lab and performing technical service at customer locations, with domestic travel up to 50%. Salary range: $76,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience, education, certifications, and geographic considerations. Responsibilities Perform color matching and complete drawdown requests. Manage color/standard database. Communicate with customers on color match and technical requests. Execute laboratory functions when working in the lab. Provide technical service at customer locations. Control work‑off, press‑side technical support, housekeeping, and monthly reporting. Handle inventory management and record‑keeping. Follow all safety requirements. Qualifications Required: High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. Pass a color vision test. Ability and willingness to travel. Effective color matching skills. Excellent customer service skills. Effective communication with peers and customers. Strong written, reading comprehension, and basic math skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Preferred: Associate degree from a 2‑year college or trade school. Previous ink in‑plant experience. Experience with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Suite. 3–5 years in the ink industry with commercial printing experience.
