FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST

Advanced Allergy and Asthma Centers is located in Bel Air and Lutherville, Maryland. Founded in 2013, Advanced Allergy and Asthma Centers is a private, pediatric and adult medical practice, currently looking for a professional, friendly, energetic Part Time or Full Time Medical Receptionist, with previous medical office experience! PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE WORKED FOR A MEDICAL PRACTICE FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS.

The job requires travel to both our Lutherville office and our Bel Air office. Full time would be a minimum of 35 hours a week, part time at least 20 hours per week. We have extended hours in Lutherville on Tuesdays and Thursdays that need to be filled, so if you live in the vicinity of Lutherville this may be the right job for you!! Extended hours meaning Tuesdays and Thursdays would end around 7pm. Bel Air is MWF extended hours Wednesdays 6:30/7pm.

Full time employees receive PTO, holiday pay, profit sharing and may participate in our Blue Cross medical, dental and vision insurance plan. Part time employees receive 5 sick days per year and profit sharing.

Duties of medical receptionist include:

data entry
patient interaction
answering phones
assisting the providers with clerical needs
Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors and patients.
Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information.
Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
Assist with admissions/treatment as per agreed protocols.
Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision .
Complete accurate documentation of patient visits. transportation is a must and references are required. Candidates are subject to a background check and/or drug screening.

Pay is commensurate to experience.
