We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who thrives at the forefront of technology, science, and security to join Artificial Intelligence Security (AISec), working with teams across Amazon to accelerate delivery of spectacular, safe, secure, models, agents, and applications.You dive deep into of details of business, operations, and engineering. You are a deeply-technical, detail-oriented leader who can build and grow organizations and other leaders. Key job responsibilitiesYour responsibilities include:· Building a massively scalable global security service that is core to all Amazon services.· Owning the definition of best practices for the software development lifecycle used by junior engineers, including its design, implementation, testing, and operational characteristics.· Working as part of cross-functional teams to develop secure solutions for our customers.· Owning the technology stack for one of the most secure and reliable services in all of Amazon. A day in the life• Serve as a technical lead on our most demanding, cross-functional projects.• Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.• Fully and completely understand system interdependencies and limitations.• Possess expert knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.• Leverage knowledge of internal and industry prior art in design decisions.• Effectively research and benchmark Amazon technology against other competing systems in the industry. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
