Strategic Account Executive, Major Accounts - Vehicle Intelligence

Account Executive – Fixed License Plate Recognition (LPR) Cameras Join Axon and be a Force for Good. At Axon, we are on a mission to Protect Life. Your Impact We are transforming public safety with technology that saves lives. As an Account Executive for Fixed LPR Cameras, you will be the subject‑matter expert partnering with Key Account Leaders (KALs) to deliver cutting‑edge, integrated LPR solutions to law enforcement agencies across the country. You will expand our reach, unlock new revenue, and help agencies solve real‑world problems through advanced vehicle recognition and data‑driven policing. What You’ll Do Lead LPR Sales Strategy : Drive sales of Axon’s Fixed LPR cameras by identifying use cases, creating tailored solutions, and closing deals together with KALs. Be the Technical Expert : Serve as the go‑to resource for LPR product knowledge, implementation logistics, data workflows, and competitive differentiation. Support Complex Sales Cycles : Partner with KALs to engage decision‑makers, manage RFPs, and drive long‑term strategic opportunities within large public‑safety agencies. Deliver Demos & Field Proofs : Coordinate and showcase product demonstrations, pilots, and customer education sessions to illustrate the impact of Axon’s LPR technology. Collaborate Cross‑Functionally : Work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Customer Success, and Field Sales to ensure smooth pre‑sales and post‑sale transitions. Champion the Customer Voice : Bring field insights back to internal teams to improve product‑market fit and deliver long‑term customer value. What You Bring 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in public safety, SaaS, or smart infrastructure. Proven track record of managing long, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and exceeding quota. Strong technical aptitude—comfortable explaining camera systems, data integrations, and cloud software to both IT and non‑technical audiences. Experience collaborating with Key Account Executives or sales teams on strategic accounts. Deep understanding of the public‑safety/government procurement landscape, including RFPs, budgets, and grants. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal. High integrity, mission alignment, and the ability to build trust with law‑enforcement customers. Willingness to travel 30–50 % to customer sites, events, and demos.
