Fleet Manufacturing Technician Associate

Immediate Hiring! Fleet Manufacturing Technician Associate FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY! This entry‑level role ensures the efficiency, safety, and reliability of customers’ vehicles. Responsibilities include vehicle body repairs, painting, structural work, welding, cabinet making, fabrication, upholstery, electrical harness assembly, disassembly, parts installation, and more. Responsibilities Perform basic bodywork and repair tasks including dent repairs, scratch removal, and major structural repairs. Assist in preparing surfaces for priming/painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers. Assist in application of paint and clear coat with precision. Assist in performing complex assembly and disassembly tasks on a variety of vehicles. Disassemble, document processes, and organize parts for repair or restoration. Perform removal and replacement of damaged parts such as panels, fenders, bumpers, and lights. Ensure precise alignment and fitment of new parts. Perform rework of current defects found during quality control and inspections. Identify, tag, pack, and store parts; retrieve parts for reuse. Assemble and manufacture sub‑assemblies including upholstery, vacuum forming, wiring harnesses, and switch panels. Assist in diagnosis and repair of ambulances, support vehicles, and GMR equipment. Assist in upfitting vehicles. Assist in conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards. Follow safety protocols, report hazards, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment. Comfort working in various weather conditions. Standing, bending, climbing and reaching for extended periods. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred; automotive trade school or related certifications preferred. ASE, EVT, AWS, I‑CAR certifications preferred.
