Job Type Full-time Description Staff Ultrasound Technologist must: Have an associate degree in sonography, from an institution accredited by The CAAHEP, that prepares students to sit for the certification exam. Staff Ultrasound Technologist Duties Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern Report to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results Schedule outpatient procedures for Radiology Manage several patients and priorities and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members Take Call for emergency procedures after working hours Requirements Ultrasound technologist at SSCH needs to be: ARRT Registered A Mississippi license to practice radiography. Able to perform x-ray and Ct procedures Ultrasound technologist must be a graduate with associate's or bachelor's degree in radiology from an accredited 2 year or 4 year college. Hours Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30 After hour call weekdays, weekends, and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
