About the Role:
Come Out To The Country! Join our dedicated veterinary team at New Prague Animal Care PA as a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian! This exciting opportunity allows you to provide compassionate care to small animals while enjoying excellent compensation and a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. Work 2-4 shifts per week, no pager, no on-call, no weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and diagnose medical conditions in dogs and cats
• Perform routine surgical procedures and dental care
• Administer vaccinations and preventative treatments
• Provide client education on pet health and wellness
• Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with veterinary practices
• Assist in the training and mentoring of support staff

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, licensed in Minnesota or ability to obtain
• 3+ years of previous work experience as a veterinarian with demonstrated surgical confidence
• Current DEA License/USDA Accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and dedicated to small animal welfare
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
