Position Surgery Veterinary Technician Schedule Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9‑7 pm Compensation The hiring range is $28.25–$44.00 per hour based on skillset and experience. Responsibilities Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, maintain medical records, handle invoicing and patient discharges. Assist with medication dispensing, charge entry, and accurate medical record keeping. Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations. Prep patients for surgery: shaving, scrubbing, positioning, assist with intubation and radiographs. Proficiently perform blood draws and submit bloodwork. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Open, turn over, and clean operating rooms, clean instruments, and wrap packs. Qualifications State registered veterinary technician license preferred. Prior veterinary experience required; previous surgery experience desired. Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant‑rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.). Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when needed. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
