Lab Tech 1

Job Title: Lab Tech 1 Schedule: Tues–Fri 9:00pm–5:30am; Sat 7:00pm–3:30am Responsibilities: Process and perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or histology samples using automated analyzers and microscopes. Set up and run lab tests; read and release results per ZRL SOPs. Perform daily/weekly/monthly analyzer maintenance. Accession samples and manage specimen storage/tracking; package/unpackage for shipments. Follow QC standards and EHS practices. Troubleshoot sample integrity issues and respond to customer concerns via Salesforce ticketing. Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Handle and dispose of medical/biohazardous waste per regulations. Complete laboratory logs (maintenance, environmental, cleaning). Manage email correspondence professionally and promptly. Be a team player with a positive attitude. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (BS/BA preferred). 1+ years’ clinical laboratory experience. Skills: Strong attention to detail; collaboration. Organizational and time management; excellent data entry. Strong written/oral communication; English fluency. Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
