What You’ll Do
As our Diagnostic Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for residential HVAC troubleshooting and repair.
- Diagnose & Repair: Accurately troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems, including heat pumps, gas furnaces, and AC systems.
- Solve, Don't Guess: Perform thorough, accurate system evaluations to find the root cause of issues (no guesswork, no lazy "condemning" of working units).
- Electrical & Refrigerant Troubleshooting: Solve complex low-voltage, high-voltage, and refrigerant cycle problems.
- Transparent Communication: Speak clearly and honestly with homeowners about their options, helping them understand the repair without using slick sales scripts.
What We’re Looking For
This is not an entry-level sales position. We are looking for an experienced technician who genuinely loves the trade.
- Proven Diagnostic Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex residential HVAC systems.
- Hands-on Experience: Solid background in service, maintenance, and repair work.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of electrical schematics (both high and low voltage) and refrigerant systems.
- Communication Systems: Experience with communicating/inverter -driven systems is a major plus.
- Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and EPA Universal Certification.
