Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care in a 30-bed cardiac med-surg unit
• Handle patient ratios of 1:6 efficiently
• Administer cardiac drips including Cardizem and heparin
• Utilize GE telemetry and Rover equipment
• Document using Meditech system

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• EKG/cardiac rhythm identification certification
• Experience with med-surg and cardiac medications/drips
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
