Position Details Department: 36101 Atrium Health Union - Emergency Department: Pediatric Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 24 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Part-Time Weekends 1p-1a Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Location Atrium Health Union Levine Children's Pediatric Emergency Department: In partnership with Levine Children's, Atrium Health Union Levine Children’s Pediatric Emergency Department is the only pediatric emergency department in Union County, North Carolina. Providing emergency care to patients from birth to 18 years of age, we pride ourselves on our nursing ratios, teamwork, and highly engaged team delivering top quality care for these patients. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Applicants must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire 1 year of peds/ED experience required Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
