Labor & Employment Associate

Overview Top AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated 3rd-4th year associate (Class of 2022-2023) to join their nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Detroit office. Responsibilities Provide strong legal support in labor and employment matters, including case assessment, research, drafting, and client advising. Assist with temporary restraining order and temporary injunction expedited relief proceedings. Engage in trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation, wage and hour class action litigation, union negotiations, and OSHA matters. Represent single plaintiff employment matters and contribute to case strategy and advocacy. Qualifications 3rd-4th year associate (Class of 2022-2023) with top academics. Experience with TRO/temporary injunctions, trade secret and noncompete litigation, wage-and-hour class actions, union negotiations, OSHA matters, and single plaintiff employment litigation. Team-oriented, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional work ethic. Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills; ability to thrive in a busy, collegial environment. Must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Michigan Bar. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, and other factors.
