Nutritional Care CoordinatorCoordinate and provide nutritional care and education for patients with various disease states and medical conditions. Monitor, assess and optimize nutrition status based on the patient's current medical condition and/or nutrition adequacy.Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:One year prior experience at an acute care facilityFunction as a productive member of the interdisciplinary healthcare teamSelf-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently on assigned tasksDetail oriented with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficientlyOrganized with the ability to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environmentSupervise and mentor Nutrition Assistants to facilitate quality serviceDemonstrate clinical competenceProficiency in technology usage, including Microsoft OfficeExcellent command of oral and written EnglishDemonstrated knowledge of food service operationsMaintain licensure and credentialing through continuing education and trainingPreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Experience with Cerner a plusEducational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and completion of an Accredited Dietetics programLicense/Certification: Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic RegistrationLicensed Dietitian – Commonwealth of MassachusettsAge Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
