Electronics Technician

The company is seeking a methodical, dependable, and motivated Electrical Technician to join its team in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a strong opportunity for a transitioning service member or military veteran with electronics, electrical, avionics, communications, radar, power-generation, or maintenance experience who wants to build a long-term civilian career in industrial electronics. The company specializes in designing and manufacturing industrial power electronics, and candidates will have the opportunity to work hands-on with systems such as variable speed drives, boost converters, UPS systems, and other advanced electronic equipment. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, assembling, and maintaining electronic products and circuitry. Day-to-day duties will include performing final checkout testing, replacing faulty circuit components, soldering, using hand tools, reading wiring diagrams and schematics, building prototypes, and following engineering instructions and manuals. The technician may also assist with basic circuit design, preventative maintenance and calibration procedures, system documentation, testing records, and technical reports while working closely with engineering personnel.

The company is particularly interested in motivated military candidates who are comfortable troubleshooting complex systems, following technical procedures, working with precision, and taking ownership of results. Candidates should have relevant vocational or technical training, including military electronics training, trade school, or college-level coursework, along with experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electronics. Strong soldering skills, the ability to read electronic schematics, attention to detail, critical-thinking ability, and effective communication skills are important. Familiarity with CAD and exposure to electrical or electronic engineering are also valuable.

This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position located at 521 Fairground Ct., Nashville, TN 37211, with typical hours of 7:30 AM-4:15 PM CDT. Starting compensation is $25.00 per hour, plus benefits including paid holidays, health insurance, and paid PTO accrued bi-weekly.
